Dr. El.Shourbagy is a partner in the Firm Arbitration Group. He specializes in prosecuting commercial and contractual disputes.
He represents his clients in national and international arbitration as well as court proceedings. In addition to his work as attorney-at-law, Dr. ElShourbagy is an Associate Professor of International Commercial Arbitration and English Contract law at the British University in Egypt. He as well served as Senior Lecturer in several reputable academic institutions such as University of London and German University in Cairo.
Dr. ElShourbagy advises and litigates in cross border multi-jurisdictional matters, including the conclusion, performance and termination of commercial contracts, civil liability and damages. He prosecuted cases under the auspices of the ICC, LCIA, DIAC and CRCICA. Dr. ElShourbagy has extensive knowledge of and experience in enforcement of foreign arbitration decisions and set-aside proceedings.
Dr. ElShourbagy works for clients in a wide range of national and international companies, including the construction sector, oil and gas sector, international trade, and the professional services sector. Furthermore, (foreign) lawyers engage him as expert in Egyptian Arbitration law.
